Contributions to the Research Project

1. I presented all of the ideas that my group had discussed during our group's meeting  to the class. 2. I contributed to the research of the background information. 3. Upon further research, I discovered that our initial idea of using harvested rainwater for HDB block-washing is already in practice in Singapore. We then had to further brainstorm a new idea, and decided on using harvested rainwater to for non-potable use in industrial areas.  4. I researched on the best method to harvest rainwater, and concluded that the rooftop rainwater harvesting system is the most effective and cost-saving. 

Critical Thinking Reflection

Module Learning Throughout the Critical Thinking and Communicating module, I have made significant strides in improving my communication and presentation skills. Initially, I aimed to enhance my coherence under pressure, refine my articulation for spontaneous questions, and improve my presentation delivery. At the start of the module, One strategy I implemented to bolster my speaking skills was taking on the role of speaker within my group during presentations. This allowed me consistent practice in speaking to an audience, gradually building my confidence with each presentation. By the end of the module, during our final formal group presentation, I made a conscious effort to improve my body language, as I had received feedback from Professor Blackstone regarding my body language, particularly my tendency to fidget with my legs.
